ingredients
• 2 & 3/4 cups all purpose flour
• 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter softened
• 1 & 1/2 cupssugar
• 2 eggs room temperature
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
cinnamon sugar coating
• 1/3 cup sugar
• 2 tablespoons cinnamon
1. set-up
- preheat oven to 350F.
- line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper.
2. dry ingridients
in a medium bowl combine flour, cream of tartar baking soda, and salt in a small bowl.
2 & 3/4 cups flour, 2 tsps cream of tartar, 1 tsps baking soda, 1/2 tsp salt
3. wet ingredients
- in a stand mixer fitted with paddle attachment, cream together butter and sugar.
- add eggs and vanilla and mix well.
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter softened, 1 & 1/2 cups sugar, 2 eggs room temp, 1 tsp vanilla extract
4. combine
add dry ingredients to wet ingredients until fully incorporated.
5. cinnamon sugar coating
in a small bowl combine sugar and cinnamon.
1/3 cup sugar, 2 tbsps cinnamon
6. bake
- scoop out dough and roll into about 1 inch balls.
- roll into cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated.
- place 2 inches apart on prepared cookie sheets.
- bake for about 10 mins.
- let sit for about 5 mins on cookie sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
