ingredients
• 6 tablespoons butter melted
• 3/4 cups sugar
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 3 eggs
• 1 egg yolk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/3 cup olive oil
• 1/4 cup cocoa powder
• 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
• 1 tablespoon vinegar
• 1 tablespoon cornstarch
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon red food coloring

• cream cheese frosting
1. set-up
- preheat oven to 325F.
- line 9-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
2. sugars
- put the butter, white sugar, and light brown sugar in a large bowl.
- whisk together until combined.
6 tbsps butter melted, 3/4 cups sugar, 1/4 cups light brown sugar
3. combine
- add eggs, egg yolk, and vanilla, and mix together.
- add the olive oil and cocoa powder and whisk gently until combined.
- take 2 tablespoons of batter and put it into your food coloring, mix together.
- add food coloring mix into batter, and whisk until combined.
do not overmix
3 eggs, 1 egg yolk, 1 tsp vanilla, 1/3 cup olive oil, 1/4 cups cocoa powder, 1/2 tsp red food coloring
4. add dry ingredients
- switch from whisk to rubber spatula.
- fold in flour, cornstarch and salt.
- add vinegar and mix well.
3/4 cups flour, 1 tbsp cornstarch, 1/4 tsp salt, 1 tbsp vinegar
5. bake
- pour brownie batter into prepared pan.
- bake for 20-25 mins or until toothipick inserted into center comes out clean.
- remove from oven and let cool completely before frosting.
